چکیده

This research focuses on the investigation of durability behavior and microstructural analysis for M70 grade high-strength concrete (HSC) with influence alccofine, banana fiber (BF), coir (CF). In this investigation, cement was partly supplanted by 15% alccofine content in weight. Two types natural fibers, were selected added at 0.5%, 1%, 1.5%, 2% volume. Durability characteristics, such as long-term compressive performance, rapid chloride penetration, sorptivity, water absorption, volume permeable voids, acid attack resistance are investigated elaborately correlate conventional HSC. Results showed that incorporation fibers HSC exhibited good performance correlated At 180 days curing, incorporating 1% increased compared to reference Nonetheless, high-fiber percentage has a slight reduction characteristics. Among two most significant improvement properties The characteristics evaluated using scanning electron microscope (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) substantiate experimental findings. contrast, additional supplementary cementitious materials (SCMs) fabrication significantly reduces usage carbon emissions.

Influence of High Temperatures on Flexural Strength of Foamed Concrete Containing Fly Ash and Polypropylene Fiber

In this study, the elevated temperature flexural strengths of lightweight foamed concrete (LFC) containing fly ash (FA) and polypropylene fiber (PF) was investigated experimentally and statistically. The variables included were the temperature degrees (in a range of 20 to 600°C), LFC densities of 600, 800, 1000, 1200 and 1400 kg/m3 and additive content. Two mixes were made by replacing 15% and ...

the effect of taftan pozzolan on the compressive strength of concrete in the environmental conditions of oman sea (chabahar port)

cement is an essential ingredient in the concrete buildings. for production of cement considerable amount of fossil fuel and electrical energy is consumed. on the other hand for generating one tone of portland cement, nearly one ton of carbon dioxide is released. it shows that 7 percent of the total released carbon dioxide in the world relates to the cement industry. considering ecological issu...

PREDICTION OF COMPRESSIVE STRENGTH AND DURABILITY OF HIGH PERFORMANCE CONCRETE BY ARTIFICIAL NEURAL NETWORKS

Neural networks have recently been widely used to model some of the human activities in many areas of civil engineering applications. In the present paper, artificial neural networks (ANN) for predicting compressive strength of cubes and durability of concrete containing metakaolin with fly ash and silica fume with fly ash are developed at the age of 3, 7, 28, 56 and 90 days. For building these...
